We stayed one night in the Melbourne tram and it was fabulous. Loved the decor and all the tram memorabilia. One less star rating - as the BBQ area is not undercover for this accommodation, where as cabins next to us had shelter. We unfortunately had to cook in the rain!

Great place for a family holiday with plenty of accommodation options, from caravan sites to rooms and cabins. The park has a pool, playground, secure surroundings, and well maintained common areas. Check in and check out were also very easy and convenient. It’s a lovely spot to relax with family and kids. The only downside was the room insulation wasn’t very good, so you could hear people talking outside quite clearly. Overall still a very enjoyable stay.

2 stars purely for the beautiful location. We paid an astonishing amount of money to stay in one of the refurbished trams over a peak period as a treat for us and our train/tram loving child. It was very nicely refurbished. I'd recommend site 388 as it's private and the view from the deck is beautiful. The other tram is in a very high traffic area. Unfortunately, that is where the good experience ended. Both kids jump pads are broken and out of order - this is not mentioned on the website or on the maps we were given at check in. This was a big draw card for us so a huge let down. The "rec room" is a pool table and a bunch of paid arcade/skill tester machines, half of which do not work. You need to borrow pool cues and balls from the office however I only knew this after one of the other guests mentioned it to me - there is no signage. There is definately no fooze ball as shown on the website. One pool is heated but is way too small for the size of the park. It was disgustingly murky and dirty by the end of the day. Our booking came with a "complimentary: food basket which included two expired cheeses and wine that isn't even local (we're in the Yarra Valley?!). When booking the tram you are told that the top bunk cannot be used by children older than 10yrs old due to weight restrictions, however the camp rules state children under 9yrs are not permitted on top bunks according to Australian standards and law... The comforter on the main bed still had dried food on it from previous guests. The lounge had very visible stains. Kitchen was well equipped but had zero chopping boards. Cherry on top was on our final night, finding mice nesting in one of the bed mattress bases. Could not wait to leave. I understand this is not a luxury resort, I've stayed at caravan parks before, however for $800/night I expected much better. I provided feedback on checkout and was assured the manager would call me to discuss. It's been 4 weeks and I have not heard back from anyone.

Stayed this week. Pros * Great base to travel the Yarra Valley and surrounds. * We stayed in a Superior 8 cabin we were upgraded from a 6 cabin. Great size cabin with lots of space. Kitchen and bathrooms were decent. * Lots of play space for the kids to kick the ball and scoot around the park. * Loved the creek at the back and the jump track hours of fun play. * I thought at night it would be loud given all the camping but surprisingly it was quiet and nice. Cons * WiFi, nonexistent we were upgraded to an 8 ppl superior cabin at the back of the park which meant WiFi could not be reached and our 4G and 5G kept cutting out. If we wanted to use WiFi it was outside our cabin which is not ideal. Not sure l would consider this as an UPGRADE we didn’t need an 8 ppl room and then we lost WiFi. This was really disappointing and the front staff didn’t care. This also meant we were unable to use the TV with Netflix. * Beds were so uncomfortable. Not sure what’s wrong with the bunks but my kids were over heating in them. Lucky we did have the extra double bed. * 1 bed sheet was dirty. * Lots of insects, the room should be sprayed before the next stay. I know you can’t help it but we had lots and they looked like they were around for sometime. * Jumping pads- do not market these on your website if they aren’t available. I get one being broken but both! My kids were really disappointed. * Swimming pools are very small considering the size of the park and the 14 ppl capacity is not manned. * The games room is useless, need to upgrade the room and activities. Air hockey was out of order.

We stayed here over the weekend and while there were a couple of positives, overall it was a disappointing experience. The small creek running behind our site was lovely, and I did appreciate being placed next to another family we were travelling with. That made things easier and more enjoyable. Unfortunately, the facilities were a major letdown. The cleaning sign-off sheets in the closest bathrooms showed they were last cleaned on Thursday, and they were not cleaned at all before we checked out at 10am on Monday. By that point they were filthy, smelly, with bins overflowing with used paper towel and no toilet paper available. That’s simply not acceptable for a busy caravan park. The advertising is also misleading. Current photos and the site map clearly show a jump pad, in fact two, but both have been removed with nothing in their place. This was really disappointing, especially when travelling with children. Our powered tent site was also very uneven, with large bricks and rocks sticking out of the ground. We managed to set up right at the back on a small patch of grass, but it meant we had to go out and buy an extension cord just to access power. As others have mentioned, the swimming pools are far too small for a park of this size. Even when we tried to swim on Sunday afternoon after things had quietened down, there were only around 10 to 12 people in the pool and it still felt overcrowded with very little room to actually enjoy it. Overall, while the setting has potential, the lack of maintenance, cleanliness, and inaccurate advertising made this stay pretty disappointing.
