Yanchep National Park was a great place to stay. New kitchen. New toiler and shower block. Spaces are very spacious for easy camping etc. They also have a parking area for campervans etc. Onsite host was very helpful in showing us around. As the pics show they are also close to the koala park which is well worth a visit. Go in the afternoon and they may be up and about. Otherwise they sleep during the day.

The entry ticket machine kept declining our cards when tapping, but it eventually accepted when inserted. Many opportunities to see kangaroos, various fungi, koalas, birds, and plants. Perfect for the budding naturalist. Hiking trail/park maps (available in McNess Visitor House) were quite easy to follow, trails themselves were not difficult. Crystal Cave was awesome, highly recommend if you like rocks and caves.

Was wonderful walking around and seeing the Koalas in the trees. Loved the Kangaroos jumping around and gathering in groups. Amazing how they use their tail as another leg. Wonderful lady in the wee souvenir shop.

Beautiful park. $17 entrance costs for 4 people, so really cheap! You can drive to different parts of the park. We saw koalaβs and kangaroos! Itβs nice to see the kangaroos in the wild. There are also a lot of black and pink cockatoos. We also did some walking trails in the park. Make sure to bring some drinks with you. We also went to the cave. It was worth the money! Big cave with a lovely tour guide who explains a lot about the cave. I really enjoyed my day in this park

Absolutely fantastic experience here seeing the kangaroos and koala bears. $17 for a car at the gate on the day too. We were advised to visit early in the morning or in the evening for the best chance of seeing kangaroos but we still managed to catch sight of two of them.
