Wyrrabalong National Park on NSW's Central Coast contains the last significant coastal rainforest on the region and the largest stand of Sydney red gums. The 620-hectare park offers whale watching, fishing, surfing, bushwalking, and birdwatching through networks of walking tracks. Wyrrabalong forms traditional Country of the Awabakal and Darkinjung peoples, protecting significant cultural sites including an extensive midden at Pelican Point.

It's a beautiful place, I wouldn't say it's a super busy place but if it's solitude your wanting it's probably best to go at obscure times.

It is not difficult to get there, but the entrance is a 1 km rough road. There is a parking lot and a 500 meter walk to the Wyrorabalong lookout that can see the beach on both sides. It's beautiful and worth visiting.

Beautiful beach and rockpools. Love exploring the rockpools and seeing the animals we could find there. The rocks themselves were unusually designed with small holes in them. They were laid out in roughly shaped rectangular slabs on the shore. Just be careful when walking on them, as they are slippery. We enjoyed this outing (minus a flat tyre we got on the way to another location. But I'm not going to let that put a dampener on my trip there!).
