Wollomombi Falls near Armidale plunges an impressive 220 metres from a gently rolling plateau into Wollomombi Gorge within Oxley Wild Rivers National Park, making it the highest in NSW. Located 35km east of Armidale along the iconic Waterfall Way, the moderate 2.6-mile hike takes visitors through spectacular scenery. The falls may dry during extended dry periods, so visits are best planned after heavy rain.
