Wing’s has such a wide array of animals! From macaws to emus, Tassie devils to capybaras, even farm animals. The staff giving the talks were incredibly knowledgeable, always asking if we had any questions they could answer. Loved watching the Tassie devils eat their lunch and all the crunching. It was a much more up close and intimate experience compared to a capital city zoo. Animals were all looking their best and loved coming up to you (except the farm animals, they were living life in their paddocks). A must visit!!

this is a great wildlife park to go to .for locals and tourists the park is wonderful and friendly .you can go around at you own speed the animals are super friendly they enjoy the contact they will come very close up. i have been to zoos and animal parks around the uk chester zoo Melbourne zoo Sydney zoo this is the best for the closeness you feel to the animals. must be on for you holidays ,bye the way they have a free large very large caravan park site sitting on the river banks of the Levern river.. do have more phots will up load them

We visited the park during our stay in Burnie — the drive takes about an hour. Unfortunately, the park doesn’t offer organised transport, which is a shame. We didn’t have a car and taxi services for that distance are relatively expensive, so we chose the option offered by eGuide (transport + park entry). The visit was supposed to include 2 hours in the park, but once we arrived they significantly cut that time down (by about 20 minutes). If you want to stroll around at a relaxed pace, see all the animals, spend time with the kangaroos, and possibly do an animal encounter, you definitely need at least 2 hours. Of course, you can rush through in an hour — it just depends on what kind of experience you’re after. We really wish we’d been able to stay longer. We chose the Tasmanian devil baby encounter and it was unforgettable. Also, there’s no need to buy food for the kangaroos — they seemed full and weren’t interested in being fed, and they’ll come up to you even without food.

Houses the state's largest collection of native wildlife, including Tasmanian devils, wombats, koalas, wallabies, and kangaroos. It's pretty far from the shore so I recommend a tour. They have kangaroos and wallabies in the large enclosure so you can walk in, feed and pet them if they let you come by. We even spotted a wallaby with a baby in her pouch.

This was my favorite stop in all of Australia. I will forever be dreaming of my snuggle time with their adorable baby wombat! The staff was great and the work they do there to rehabilitate so many creatures is amazing. Don’t miss it!
