Spectacular natural beauty!! The trail is VERY well maintained. Parking is a bit limited but it wasn’t hard to get a spot. (It’s costs about $47 for a car pass but it’s worth it! The baby wallaby in the carpark was a bonus!) It was very windy up on the ridge and a bit cold so don’t forget to take a jacket. Also important to bring some water - there is none available on the other side. Toilets were well placed and clean. We walked over and back (many took the longer loop) and definitely felt the burn in the calves for several days after..!

A nice short and easy hike, though there are a few short steep sections, rough patches, and plenty of steps. The track is well maintained and the loop takes around 1–2 hours depending on your pace. The lookout views are amazing and there are great spots for photos. Definitely worth doing if you’re visiting the area. You’ll need to purchase a park pass from the Freycinet National Park Visitors Centre, which is on the way to the Wineglass Bay lookout trailhead. It’s a popular hike and can get busy, so going early helps if you want a quieter experience.

Well, I don't know what's so great about it. It's exhausting to have to hike over 40 minutes just to see the beach. Plus, it's a shame I paid the $45 entrance fee just to see this. If you have time to go here, I recommend spending time exploring other places. If it's cloudy or rainy, you might not want to bother with the arduous hike to see the beach.

A magnificent spot and well worth the walk. It is a grade 3 out of five so it’s not for everyone, but there were some quite elderly and quite overweight people who made it simply by following their own timeline. Plenty of places to rest along the way. Magnificent view at the top and a great sense of achievement. Nature along the way is also stunning.
