The welcoming rest area features informational hub facilities with shade and ample space, though no toilets on-site. A row of trees provides buffer against traffic noise, making it an ideal spot for brief breaks while travelling through Australia's South West.

We stayed for a few days recently. We got both good weather and rain. Sites were big and open (not many trees). All sites are grass which was nice. Short walk to the water with canoes and small boats for hire. Seating along the waters edge made for a delightful place for afternoon drinks. We were self contained so did not use the ablutions all the time. When we did they were clean and refreshing. Short drive to town. First time visit and will be back again if we are in the region. Great place to base yourself for visiting tourist spots.

Great caravan park. The staff there are very friendly and accommodating. They are open everyday and no request is too difficult. Walpole area is lovely also, lovely art gallery that should be checked out on your way through. I went for a quick flick on the jetty not expecting much and came up with nothing, so would say the fishing is non-existent, would have to fish when the conditions are perfect for it.

My husband and I recently camped at the Walpole Rest Point Caravan park and it was truly one of the best sites I've been too! The location was incredible, right on the inlet with boat ramp access and gorgeous sunrises over the water. The powered sites were very sizeable. The facilities were great, always clean, with nice hot showers (even with multiple in use), a big boat shed recreation room with table tennis and a projector for winter nights if it's raining, fire pits for hire with wood available to buy, and kayaks to hire. We received friendly service from all the staff throughout our stay. The location is also close by to some great tourist spots to check out around the Walpole area during your stay, such as the Valley of the Giants, Mandalay Beach, Conspicuous cliffs and Mount Frankland Wilderness lookout. Highly recommend πππ

Nice for a one night stop over between Denmark and Margaret River. Hot showers, but could do with a good scrub to be a bit cleaner. Kangaroos outside our camper at night was unreal (from a non Aussie, this was a novelty!)
