Twilight Beach is absolutely beautiful. Even though there were lots of people, it never felt overcrowded. The water is cold but still very tolerable refreshing, really. I visited in early December and January, and both times the weather was ideal: sunny and warm. It’s quite windy, but that’s pretty normal for the south. A stunning spot that’s definitely worth the visit!

Twilight Beach — A Soft Meeting of White Sand and Blue Sea Twilight Beach is often named one of Australia’s most beautiful beaches, yet its beauty is quiet and unassuming. The water is crystal clear, a gentle shade of blue, while the sand is fine and white, soft underfoot like walking on clouds. A single granite rock rests along the shoreline, as if the sea has placed a chair there—inviting you to sit, pause, and stay a while. The wind is mild, the waves are calm, and in this moment, you no longer feel like a traveler, but simply part of the coast itself. A really beautiful beach. I'm surprised no one mentioned the many flies. Perhaps they were only particularly bad today, November 12th, but that was the only thing that bothered me about the beach. The children had a lot of fun splashing around with their bodyboards.

Beautiful beach with multiple parking areas. White sand and clear waters. Was quite cool when we were there so didn’t go swimming. You can swim out to the big rock though.
