About Tully Gorge National Park
A 543-square-kilometre national park in Far North Queensland, 1,338 kilometres northwest of Brisbane, forming part of the Wet Tropics World Heritage Area. The Tully River plunges through a densely forested gorge with two distinct sections: the Tully section features camping at Tully Gorge and Cochable Creek, the challenging Mount Tyson summit trail (678m), and the Butterfly Walk, while the Tablelands section offers river walks and spectacular gorge lookouts. The park is managed by the Jirrbal and Gulngay Aboriginal Traditional Owners.
