A great park to spend a few hours exploring. There are plenty of trails to choose from, making it perfect for a family adventure. If your kids enjoy wildlife spotting, we were lucky enough to see a young koala (on one of the smaller forest trails), an owl sleeping inside a tree hollow, beautiful birds, purple mushrooms, and lots of friendly, welcoming people along the way. The combination of nature, wildlife, and peaceful walking tracks made it a memorable experience.

This is a beautiful forest with lots of wildlife, such as birds, lizards and koalas (although we didn't get to see one) there is lots of water, with a few creeks running through the park. There are many paths too (dirt, gravel, and cement) Highly recommend.

Great place for a hike and close to Brisbane. I went specifically to try and see a koala in the wild. Took me 2 hours but finally lucked out. He or she slept in the tree and scratched his or herself a couple times. It was incredible. The koala was high up and far from the trail in an area closed for restoration and the photos aren't great. But I had binoculars and saw him close up that way. Easy to get to from Brisbane if you want a nice hike and a chance of spotting a koala.

A very relaxing place to explore with multiple trails/circuits. Recommend going during cloudy weather or else sun can be high on head. Less steep areas and pretty flat trails. Parking is plenty. We used bushwalk.com site to get our trail map. Free and pretty accurate.
