Go before sunrise! We were the only people there! Traveling out of peak season has its perks but we still had to beat the supposed tourist crowd. A breathtaking site. We saw the foot prints of the penguins so we are going to go back tonight to watch them come to the beach.

The drive from Melbourne to the 12 Apostles is quite long, but it’s absolutely part of the experience. There are plenty of scenic stops along the way to stretch, relax, and take in the beautiful coastal views, which makes the journey enjoyable rather than tiring. Once you arrive, the destination truly delivers. The 12 Apostles are breathtaking to see the limestone stacks rising out of the ocean is something special and well worth the trip. The viewing platforms are well set up, giving you great angles for photos and a chance to really soak in the landscape. Overall, it’s a must-do when visiting Victoria. The journey may be long, but with the stunning stops along the way and the incredible final view, it’s definitely worth it.

Stunning coastline views. Surprisingly free, I arrived in the afternoon and the lighting was challenging si returned early in the morning. Very touristy, lots of crowds. You have to be patient with the crowds.
