The Skillion in Terrigal is a breathtaking cliff-top lookout on lands of the Kuring-gai people, with a steep grassy headland rising sharply from shore. The easy 0.9-mile loop takes 30-60 minutes with 45 feet elevation gain, featuring a fenced viewing platform with expansive 360-degree coastal vistas. Nearby are amazing views to Kurrawyba and Terrigal Points, the famous 227-metre Terrigal Boardwalk, and cafes along surrounding streets.

Whales!!! What a beautiful view. Was lucky enough to catch whales. A bit of a steep incline to get up there but definitely worth a visit. Seeing these magnificent creatures was exhilarating!

It was my first visit to Skillon and a beautiful spot to go to in NSW. While I didnt get to see the whales migrating from this vantage point, it was still worth a visit. It is an easy hike up the hill to the top. What i like bout this place: - The fresh air once i stepped out of the car. - There is parking close to the Skillon and easy to navigate around. - The hike up can be via the natural hill or the built steps. The council/ state has made it easier with benches along the way and at the top. This I think is helpful for anyone who may still find the hike up a bit taxing. I would still recommend wearing a good pair of walking shoes. If it has rained, the slope can be a little muddy too. - Love the bush plants along the way and beautiful birds along the way. - The water views are truly extraordinary and as the light changes, it creates almost like a different scenery. Just beautiful to photograph in all types of lighting. I highly recommend coming here!

Experience: 5/5 I now understand why people from Central Coast love Terrigal Beach so much. Ask any local in Central Coast about which is a nice place to visit and 8 out of 10 people will say Terrigal beach. The place is just absolutely stunning. You got massive spaces for open spaces, greeneries, and parks. Aside from that, you have a good walking trail with a beautiful view waiting for you at the top. There are also tons of vista points where you can enjoy the beauty of the sea in this area. Moreover, there are heaps of things you can do in this place as a solo travelled or with your family. There are multiple shops nearby and there are safe places for kids to run around. This place is absolutely charming in its own way. Planning your Trip: Once you feel that you had enough of Terrigal Beach, you can search maps and drive to the nearest beach or lookout. Just a couple of minutes away and you are in a different area with a stunning view.
