Room was cleaned and tidy. We wanted basic and it was just that. Breakfast and dinner at the resort restaurant was absolutely delicious and lovely. Great service from the staff there. Waterpark and play area very great for kids. My family enjoyed it and we had a wonderful time there.

The location was the best. Convenient to supermarket, bottle'o and surrounding stores. The slides were a big hit with our 3 kids begging to go back every day. The room had everything you could possibly need, the door placements and the slam as soon as you let go was probably the only downfall but other than that, kids had a good time and thats all that mattered.

If you’re on a budget, this is a great place for families with children. The buffet breakfast included each morning was a bonus, and the children’s splash park, mini golf, jumping pillow, pool and spa were all a big hit. Unfortunately, we were rained out during our stay, so we didn’t get to fully enjoy the outdoor activities. The rooms were clean, but quite dated. There were holes in the walls beside the beds where lamps may have once been, but no replacements, so the bright downlights made it difficult to read at night with a sleeping child in the room. The TV setup also felt very old-fashioned — only free-to-air channels and limited cable, with no smart TV options. It’s a good way to disconnect, but when it’s pouring rain and you’ve already read all the books, played all the Uno, and finished the colouring books, it can become a little frustrating. That being said, the staff were super friendly, welcoming and always happy to help, which definitely made our stay more enjoyable.

Loved our time. Room was clean and bright. Facilities are amazing for kids and parents. You can play tennis for a date while the kids play. They have cafe and bar right near where children play so you can relax while they have fun. There is a bouncing trampoline and mini golf plus a mini waterpark. Pretty good value for families. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had all family friendly staff. The carpark for the rooms and woolworths across the street are very convenient. We would come again with our family.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4/5 We’ve been staying at Oaks Resort Caloundra once or twice a year for 11 years and usually love it. This trip started rough with no aircon across our floor and no Wi-Fi which is a common issue here, plus an unhelpful reception interaction. Thankfully everything was fixed after the first night and the rest of our stay was excellent. The resort is awesome for families, the food was great (highly recommend the surf n’ turf), and the staff across the board — restaurant, breakfast and cleaners — were genuinely outstanding. Solid 4 stars and we’ll keep coming back.
