Big thanks to all the staff from the bar to the kitchen to the cleaners. We stayed sat 13.6.26 and the place was packed but still service was quick and the staff were so friendly even when under the pump. Big shout out to the kitchen and waiters for helping out the guy who accidentally dropped his whole pizza on the floor.

Honestly, it’s tired. It’s missing its charm. Food was fantastic and cool place. However the flood lighting in the main bar and deck feels like you’re in surgery. Keep your sunnies on and don’t forget to slip slop slap. 10-15ppl for dinner. Cleared out and two people by 7.30pm. Perhaps because it’s a Tuesday. We’ve visited several times over 10 years. Used to hum! Live music, packed seats. Now it needs get to its former Lions Den, and reputation glory. Looking forward to the sale and new owners.

The Lions Den was on our "must do" list on the way up to The Cape. It didn't disappoint. Everyone very friendly, staff were great, food was excellent. Would HIGHLY recommend.

An iconic experience. AMUST if you're passing, or in the area. Great food, superb atmosphere and service. We stayed on an unpowered site, in tents, for $20 each. Great value!

A place where we are welcomed by staff and other travelers alike. Always drive away with great memories and new friends. Don't expect posh amenities or WIFI for that matter! Good place to unplug and check in with your fellow humans!
