About Terrigal Beach
Terrigal Beach is a cosmopolitan Central Coast destination featuring a long sandy beach fronted by Norfolk pines and dominated by the iconic Skillion cliff formation with accessible lookout. Located 90 minutes from Sydney and easily reached by train to Gosford then bus, the patrolled beach offers safe year-round swimming, surfing, boating and fishing. The southern end includes an ocean rock pool and Terrigal Haven, a protected harbour with boat ramp, fishing charters, and scuba diving. The Esplanade hosts a vibrant café and restaurant scene.

I love visiting Terrigal. Every time we are in Sydney, we take an overnight trip to this place to be closer to the beach away from the busy life of the city.

Absolutely beautiful, picturesque and one of the best beaches i have ever had the privilege of swimming in. Something for everyone, from a small beach for the kiddos, to a larger beach with surf patrol for the bigger kiddos. If swimming is not your thing, then take a walk along the board walk with beautiful scenery and wildlife. Will definitely be going back again one day soon.

Terrigal Beach is such a beautiful spot on the Central Coast, even outside of sunset hours. The light during the morning and early afternoon is so clean and bright, making it perfect for a relaxed beach walk or time with family. It’s an easy, family-friendly spot with great access, nearby cafés, and plenty of space to relax and enjoy the ocean. A go-to location if you love that effortless beach atmosphere.

It’s one of the beaches that it have a small beach pool with sand, we can enjoy their time in a safe funny. I loved the place

It’s one of the beaches that you really enjoy,, specially they have a small beach pool .. with sand so kids can enjoy their time in a safe funny area as they can check around some small fishes and other creatures like star fish .. my kids loved the place
