Teddy’s Lookout is a Different View Above the Ocean Road. A beautiful lookout where the Great Ocean Road winds quietly between mountains and sea. From above, the curves of the road and coastline blend together into one sweeping landscape. Sometimes, reaching a higher place brings a different perspective. Looking back, even the road already travelled has become part of the scenery. A peaceful stop to pause, breathe, and simply take in the view.

It is one of the amazing lookouts near Lorne. The view is amazing. You can see how a river connects to see and observe a beautiful meandering river estuary. Make sure you walk around and check out all lookout points there.

Teddy’s Lookout is one of those beautiful stops along the Great Ocean Road that truly takes your breath away. The panoramic view over the winding coastal road, turquoise waters and rolling hills is simply stunning. Located just a short drive from Lorne, it’s easy to access and well signposted. There’s a well-maintained car park, and from there it’s a short walk up through a lovely lawned area to reach the lookout at the top. The path is easy and manageable, making it accessible for most visitors. Once you reach the viewing platform, the scenery is incredible — the iconic stretch of the Great Ocean Road hugging the coastline below is something you could stand and admire for a long time. We loved how peaceful it felt up there, just taking in the views and appreciating how beautiful Victoria’s coastline really is. Definitely worth the quick stop if you’re driving along the Great Ocean Road.

The lookout is very easy to access, with a short drive from Lorne and a quick walk to the viewing area, making it suitable for families and visitors of all ages. The area is clean, well maintained, and has clear viewing platforms that make it perfect for photography. No matter how many times you visit, the view never gets old. It’s especially magical during sunrise or sunset, when the changing light adds extra depth and colour to the landscape. Even on a cloudy day, the scenery is impressive and worth the stop. Teddy’s Lookout is peaceful, refreshing, and offers a true sense of how beautiful this part of Victoria really is. If you’re travelling along the Great Ocean Road, this is a must-visit destination and definitely deserves a five-star rating.
