Tamarama Beach is famous among the locals for its stunning turquoise waters and vibrant blue skies. The waves crashing against the rocks were mesmerizing, creating such a dynamic and exciting atmosphere. I could spend all day just soaking in this incredible view

A beach where people can spend a calm time by the Pacific Ocean. It is not that overhyped like Bondi or Manly to be honest but it has a great view even though the bay area is small. But you can truly enjoy here rather than somplace else like Bondi. It is the same as Bondi. The distance from Bondi to here is less than a kilo. There is a walking track to Bondi.

I loved it here! One of my favourite little beaches in Syd. Big shout out to the volunteers that watch the ocean too when stupid tourists jump in without reading the signs, you’re incredible.

Nestled in a scenic cove between Bondi and Bronte, Tamarama Beach—frequently called "Glamarama" for its trendy crowd—is a dramatic and stylish alternative to its larger neighbors. It is particularly prized for its rugged beauty and intimate atmosphere, though its powerful waters mean it is better suited for experienced surfers than casual swimmers. Challenging Surf: Known as one of the most dangerous beaches in Sydney due to its narrow 80-meter shoreline and frequent, strong rip currents. It is a favorite for experienced surfers but requires extreme caution for swimmers. Vibrant Social Scene: The beach carries a "see and be seen" reputation, attracting a fashionable local crowd, celebrities, and influencers who enjoy sunbathing on its golden sands. Prime Coastal Stop: A key highlight along the famous Bondi to Coogee Coastal Walk, offering some of the most spectacular headland views in the Eastern Suburbs. Sculpture by the Sea: Annually, the beach and surrounding cliffs transform into an outdoor art gallery for this major exhibition, typically held in late October. Excellent Park Amenities: The area behind the sand features a well-maintained grassy parkland perfect for those who want the ocean breeze without the sand. Facilities: Includes a modern beach kiosk/café, public toilets, showers, and a children's playground. Picnic Ready: Offers sheltered picnic huts and barbecue facilities, making it a popular spot for relaxed group gatherings. Active Recreation: Features beach volleyball nets and outdoor fitness stations for those looking for exercise. Tamarama Beach offers a sophisticated and slightly "wild" coastal experience that feels more exclusive than Bondi. While the surf can be treacherous, the combination of high-end amenities and stunning natural scenery makes it a must-visit for anyone walking the coastal path or looking for a stylish place to lounge.

Great spot for surfing, baking and people watching. Not the best spot for swimming, unless you know what you're doing in the ocean. Prob best to swim between the flags at Bondi.
