📍 VIC
Tallangatta Lookout sits on the outskirts of Tallangatta township in north-eastern Victoria, overlooking the town, Lake Hume, and the Sandy Creek Bridge below. A very steep sealed road leads directly to the lookout platform—no walking required, though the narrow road does have blind corners. The site features picnic tables and an undercover shelter, making it a convenient stop for scenic views. Several hiking trails radiate from the area, including a moderate 4.4-mile hike to the Fire Lookout Tower that takes 2.5–3 hours.
