The cabins are very old and filthy. The couch is covered in stains and the mattress bends like a banana. Holes in the curtains and general grime layering the entire interior. The grounds are nice and location is good.

We have dogs and unfortunately everyone else did to lol. So a bit too much barking, including ours. Water accessibility wasn't available on our sites, but we manage with the extra hose we carry to reach a point. Nothing to do with the park but we took our dogs to a local fenced dog park up the road. Be aware the grounds are full of prickles. Lots of wondering dogs too so be careful

Facilities were spotless,in fact cleanest we have seen anywhere!! Someone obviously takes pride with this place. Location is central, but if youre a light sleeper.. good luck. Its loud. Heavy traffic noise and dogs barking all night. They also have courtesy buses that can take you to dinner and bring you back. Service was lovely. Sites are close together with nothing in between so feels a little like a car park.

Nice park with magnesium pool, community herb garden, and friendly welcoming staff. Felt secure at this park. About 2km walk to cbd. Take advantage of curtesy bus to Irish club. amenities are clean and functional, but a bit tired. nice large level sites. $45 power and water per night, with G’day membership. If you can avoid it, avoid camping near the permi next to site 44, he played a radio or tv very loud, once all night and extremely early in the morning 😩

The management here were super friendly and could not do enough for you. We rolled in last minute , without a booking, even before check-in time and they were super accommodating. Felt safe in the park and the amenities were clean and handy. We will only stay here when we come back to Mt Isa.
