Like most caravan parks on this trip Sunshine Holiday Village is top quality. Excellent and spotless amenities, vibrant staff. Big and level caravan sites. Located close to Rockhampton's mail shopping mall. Everything you need in one place.

This does not even deserve 1 star - Booked for 1 nights stay - Raised an issue with the office regarding vehicles speeding through the park around young children (all company/trade vehicles) The lady in the office then shook her head as she walked away, which she was then politely asked to please not do that. She then begins to scream and yell - we left the office and she proceeded to follow us screaming and yelling -she was so worked up that she was tripping over her own feet - check footage from 28/04/26 approx 5:30pm. It was suggested that if there is such a big issues with these particular vehicles like staff also stated - do not book the accomodation for families with young children on the main road through the park. We later came back and asked for a full refund as we were leaving the park due to the disgraceful behaviour shown from this particular staff member - they approved the refund, so we got our things out and my partner went in to return the keys and to no surprise the staff member started yelling again to then have to be told by her colleague to stop. Highly reccomend reviewing your employees and the way that they speak to guests.

We've stayed at Southside Holiday Village numerous times over the last 10+ years and have been extremely happy with the cleanliness of the cabins and the facilities that are available and the proximity to shops etc. Would highly recommend.

Easy check in/out process. Friendly staff. Stayed in cottage (self contained cabin) spotless, nice comfortable bed and great location. Definitely recommend.

We stayed in Southside Holliday Village in our caravan for 3 nights. The friendliest people to deal with run this place, and it was amazing! Very clean and tidy and a credit to all management and staff that run the park…. We would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a beautiful place to stay. We had a blast 🇦🇺👍🏼😁
