Campground at Cape Tribulation in Daintree National Park, 15 campsites nestled 50m from the beach beneath forest canopy offering natural shade and wind protection. Permits required (bookable in advance). Suitable for tents and small camper trailers only; unsuitable for large caravans or high-roofed vehicles. Composting toilets only; visitors must be self-sufficient for water. Note: swimming prohibited due to saltwater crocodiles, box jellyfish and strong currents. Closed Christmas to Easter.
