The walk is pleasant. If you choose some of the lesser travelled tracks you may be rewarded with silence and lyrebird. The falls itself isn't spectacular but the walk is excellent amongst tall trees and birds.

Sherbrooke Falls is a really nice easy walk in the Dandenong Ranges and feels super peaceful. The rainforest scenery is beautiful with huge trees and lots of birdlife, and the falls are best after some rain. A great little nature escape from Melbourne.

The walk to the falls is pleasant and relaxing, offering a lovely experience surrounded by nature. A short stair path leads down to the waterfall, and a small bridge crosses the stream, giving you a charming view of the flowing water. Some visitors venture below the bridge to capture better photos of the falls, but it’s not recommended to leave the trail, especially when it’s wet, as it can be slippery and unsafe. For an even more enjoyable outing, I highly recommend visiting Alfred Nicholas Memorial Gardens, which is only about a five-minute drive away and well worth the stop.

Nice walk through the forest. It is bit different from Grants picnic grounds walking trail. The forest has more ground cover so you can see more birds. You have to take Sherbrooke water falls track to go see the falls. It's actually not a huge water fall. So don't be disappointed. But worth the 1km walk to get there. If you want can go through other walking trails as well. Make sure you don't make too much noise if you want to enjoy the wildlife, sounds in the forest.

Sherbrooke Falls is a truly incredible experience. The track leading the to waterfall winds through a tranquil forest occupied by lofty trees and vibrant ferns. The occasional bird call which resonates through the trees is accompanied by the soft breeze that blows through the leaves. At first glance from the bridge, the waterfall appears unimpressive. However, if one is willing to break away from the walking track and trek upstream, larger cascades await, alongside countless pools of clear water and the occasional fallen log. One should not come to Sherbrooke Falls expecting grand cascades, but rather a gentle stream nestled within lush vegetation. Overall, a brilliant insight into nature.
