Beautiful spot reached in about 15 mins from the car park. Don't be a wimp and do walk up the short steep track the the swallow caves. The track sidles along a steep drop off and you walk past the top of a waterfall it's very pretty.

Amazing trail. We spotted Dolphins frolicking in the waves. What a thrill 👏🏻👏🏻 The path is well established as are the stairs. It is straight up in some areas so wear good shoes. Well worth the effort ! FYI No toilets in the carpark. Bonus it’s freeeeeeee! 👏🏻👏🏻💪💪👏🏻👏🏻

Sheoak Falls (near Lorne) Sheoak Falls is a beautiful and peaceful hidden gem near Lorne. The walk to the waterfall is short and easy, making it perfect for families and anyone looking for a relaxed nature experience. The track is well maintained and surrounded by lush greenery, which already makes the walk enjoyable before you even reach the falls. The waterfall itself is stunning, especially after rainfall, with water cascading down the rock face into a serene setting. It’s a great spot to stop, take photos, and simply enjoy the calm atmosphere away from the busy tourist areas. Even during warmer months, the area feels cool and refreshing. What makes Sheoak Falls special is how quiet and uncrowded it usually is compared to other waterfalls along the Great Ocean Road. It’s an ideal place for a short break, a peaceful walk, or a quick nature escape while travelling through Lorne. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area and looking to explore more of the region’s natural beauty.
