About Seven Mile Beach National Park

This national park stretches 110km southwest of Sydney from Shoalhaven Heads to Gerroa, protecting 8.981 km² of coastal sand barriers, tidal flats, and littoral rainforest including part of Coomonderry Swamp—the south coast's only large semi-permanent freshwater wetland. The park supports significant populations of migratory waders, sea birds, and threatened species like the green and golden bell frog. A wide expanse of pristine shoreline offers fishing, swimming, picnicking, scenic walking paths, and cycling, with the Beach Road picnic area available for family barbecues and forest walks along the Sand track.
