Accessed via the moderate-grade Brindle Creek Walking Track in Northern NSW's Border Ranges National Park, this waterfall cascades over moss-covered boulders within the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area. The approximately 3-kilometre walk to the falls makes a 6-kilometre return journey through pristine rainforest habitat. The falls were named after an Australian Army Sergeant who conducted jungle survival training at Brindle Creek during the Vietnam War era.
