Wild Horse Mountain was a leisurely climb to the top where the 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains was absolutely stunning. I suggest taking a bite to eat and utilising the seating area at the top and soak up the natural beauty of the coast. I found it surprisingly educational as there were plaques with historical facts, depicting the history of the fire tower. I have been on the coast for 24 years now and regretted not doing it sooner 😊

A spectacular place with incredible views! Everything was very clean and well maintained. There’s only a short uphill walk to reach the lookout, but it’s absolutely worth it. We loved it and would definitely recommend visiting!

Awesome lookout. The walk is slightly tiring make sure to bring some water with you. There are some water tanks at the top filled with rain water. Also at the top is a table compass with some information about the area. Gives you a nice view of every direction and to the glass house mountains.

Short walk but quite steep, made my legs remember muscles they forgot existed. Completely worth it for the breath-taking 360° view! And lovely, breezy seating at the top in the rotunda to catch your breath. Definitely recommend stopping here, just remember to take a water bottle 😉

The walk to Wild Horse Mountain Lookout from the car park is approx 700m one way. The walk is steep. Upwards the whole way. The path is fully cemented, which makes the walk easier. It takes approx 15 minutes to reach the top. Once you're at the viewing platform you're rewarded with magnificent 360 views and a nice breeze to recover. No toilets or water is available at the site. The scenery is peaceful. It's definitely worth the walk
