This place is a nice meetup point between Margaret river and the ocean. Some people surfs at the ocean side with a bit of waves. While if you keen for a more chill side, can sit on the river sides where the water is shallow and kids friendly to play around. We also met a group of seagulls roaming around.

Such a magnificent spot. The view at Margaret River Mouth is something special — where the river meets the ocean, it just feels calm and powerful at the same time. The scenery is beautiful, and you can easily just stand there, take it all in, and forget about everything else. The weather makes a big difference here. On a good day, with the sea breeze coming through, it’s incredibly relaxing — one of those places you could stay for a while without even realising it. Simple, natural, and worth the stop.

Nice place to visit and have a look at the sea and the mouth of the river. The river is a nice alternative to swimming in the sea. Its a lot calmer and safer than the ocean. There is also a life guard on duties.

Great sunset shot! Brilliant vista of the sea and the river mouth with the huge sand-bank. It looks like the sandbank closes the river off at the moment. Rainy season this mouth may be open. Visit is recommended, especially for that sunset shot. We were a bit early.
