Beautiful views and full of history... somehow, it's a long walk (almost 3km each way), we'll bring bikes next time :)

Very beautiful, scenic route with many historic attractions spread out almost everywhere in the way, the attractions include fortifications, bunkers, watch towers, shooting ranges, barracks and old colonial buildings which can be explored to some limits by the public. Thereβs also a scheduled bus service for these attractions for those who canβt walk that long which makes this place more accessible to everyone. The path we took, took us about 6 hours and we almost made every detour possible to explore everywhere. The path took us through multiple different pathways (such as sand, dirt, roads and buildings) and the constant change of scenery was very nice and pleasant and we didnβt get bored walking that long. From our understanding the place is a historic site, hiking/bushwalking area as well as running and camping place with great views and beautiful beaches and bushes. Highly recommended to everyone as the site is highly accessible and easy to navigate around. There are a lot of interesting and hidden gems around it which if you want, you can explore. Some fun facts of what you can find here: 1) A full WW1 & 2 Fortification overseeing the bay of Melbourne. 2) The place and gun placement of the first allied shots fired in WW2 (warning shots to a German ship attempting to leave the port) 3) The beach where Harold Holt the prime minister of Australia went for a swim and was never found after that. 4) Great views and small interesting places.

Incredibly beautiful. The shuttle bus service was great too. (But sadly, still saw some people breaking the rules, like entering restricted areas or flying drones)

The walk was worth the effort to enjoy the views to the Point. Please carry a hat with a net as the flies are overwhelming and accustomed to repellants. There was a seal to be seen!
