Great little spot. 30 min and a few platapus spotted just after sunset. Not so great photos without a zoom lens.

Saw this cute little guy splashing about. Was one of the best experiences ever to see them in the wild. Blink and you will miss them though.

We saw a Platypus!!! It was around 4pm on a weekend afternoon on a sunny winter day, it was a long waiting game but the Platypus eventually appeared. Try your luck and pop in, see if the Platypus comes up! But be prepared to wait for it to show, bring a sandwich and some patience and you'll see it too!

Didn't see paktyous at this spot but we were here in the middle of the day. Easy to stop by here. Well protected for viewing and right by the road.

It's absolutely worth being patient and waiting here - the platypuses definitely do show up if you keep an eye out. Just watch for the little bubbles on the water - once you spot those ripples, they usually appear soon after. So just be patient and consider coming by a second time - itβs really worth it!
