A very unique experience I would definitely stop here anytime I drive to Philip Island. We were blessed with a huge flock of pelicans and a small crowd. It was thrilling to see them, bigger than your toddler. This is a nice stop over on route. But need to reach on time. the experience lasts for hardly 30 mins so if you snooze you lose. Theres also the pier and the stone shore nearby and a short walking trail through the bush. They say we could spot giant sting rays but we didn't. There are so many food places nearby.

A wonderful experience at San Remo! The pelican feeding was definitely the highlight of our visit. Watching the pelicans gather at the jetty and seeing them fed up close was fascinating, especially for families and first-time visitors. The atmosphere was relaxing, with beautiful coastal views, fresh sea air, and plenty of places to walk around and enjoy the scenery. The volunteers were informative and passionate, making the experience even more enjoyable. If you’re visiting Phillip Island or the surrounding area, I highly recommend stopping by San Remo to catch the pelican feeding. It’s a unique and memorable attraction that doesn’t cost a thing!

I am so glad to have found this place on Google and brought my kids there. The pelicans knew what time was feeding, and were already waiting before 12pm. The real fun comes with each throw of the fish.. cos they would really fight each other for it. We went for lunch after that at one of the cafes along the stretch opposite the wharf, which is a nice place to spend your midday. Highly recommended for anyone to visit, especially if you have kids.
