Toowoomba: Picnic Point & Lookout. Love returning to this lookout and mountain. Certainly doesn't disappoint. Do visit all the garden displays and children's playground. A few toilets in the area too. The cafe meals were very nice and drinks. Beautiful waterfalls. ✅ Enough parking around too . ✅ Dog friendly on leads and outside cafe ✅ Plenty toilets ✅ Pathways ❤️⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐❤️ 162-202 Tourist Rd, Rangeville

Picnic Point Lookout is a great spot for a relaxed day out with an awesome view. The lookout offers sweeping scenery, especially at sunset when the sky lights up over the valley. It’s clean, well-maintained, and easy to access, making it perfect for a quick stop or a longer picnic. There are walking tracks nearby and plenty of space to sit and unwind. Overall, it’s a peaceful place to take in nature without having to go too far out of town.

Picnic Point Lookout is a beautiful spot with stunning views over the Lockyer Valley and Toowoomba escarpment. It’s the perfect place to take visitors or enjoy a relaxing afternoon with family and friends. The walking trails are well-maintained, and the gardens are lovely to stroll through. There are plenty of picnic tables and barbecue areas, making it easy to enjoy a meal outdoors. The café nearby offers good coffee and snacks, which is a nice bonus. Parking is usually available, though it can get busy during peak times. Overall, Picnic Point is a fantastic place to unwind and soak in the scenery. The only reason it’s not a full five stars is that it can get quite crowded on weekends, but it’s absolutely worth a visit. I recommend going on weekdays if you can for a more peaceful experience. If you take a scenic route you’ll pass through some lovely landscapes.
