A beautiful hidden gem less than an hour’s drive from Melbourne. Built on the site of ancient volcanic eruptions, the park showcases fascinating basalt formations and landscapes shaped by flowing lava thousands of years ago. Although it’s not a huge park, it offers a lovely mix of river views, bushland and unique geological features. The walking tracks are well maintained with only gentle slopes, making them suitable for families, older visitors and even strollers – I actually saw a few prams on my visit! Winter is an especially wonderful time to come. The park is peaceful with very few visitors, and best of all, no mosquitoes. Anyone who has dealt with Australian mosquitoes will understand how amazing that is! It’s a relaxing and educational day trip that combines nature, history and geology, and I would happily visit again.

Lovely place for a buahwalk, especially with kids. It's a very steep walk up, but there's a sealed walking track. There's toilets at the carpark and at the bottom near the organ pipes rocks. There's also seats and picnic tables all through the park. The formations are impressive in real life and worth the walk; photos don't do them justice. Access to the park is right off the freeway, there's no onramp, offramp or traffic lights.

An incredible hidden gem just 30 minutes from Melbourne CBD! The volcanic rock formations are breathtaking and look exactly like giant organ pipes. It’s a great spot for a quick nature escape and some stunning photos. Highly recommend if you dont want to go far from CBD.

Very good place to walk , about 1 hours to see three spots. with 45 degree slopes, not suit someone who needs mobility aids, if go to scenery area.

A really peaceful spot not far from the city. The walking tracks are easy and well maintained, and the rock formations are pretty unique. It’s a great place if you just want some fresh air and quiet time without the crowds. Perfect for a relaxed walk or a short picnic. Some sections of the track are quite steep, so just something to be aware of.
