Orchid Beach is a secluded village on the remote north-eastern end of Fraser Island, just north of Waddy Point, accessible via a bumpy sandy 4WD track. Often regarded as one of the best fishing locations on K'gari (Fraser Island), the peaceful settlement is populated mainly by locals and fishing enthusiasts. The Orchid Beach Trading Post and Driftwood Bar at the entrance serves as an iconic small bar, convenience store and fuel station.
