Beautiful 360’ viewing spot. One of the local told us to come see as there anit any sign. We were really impressed by the view. There are some benches around for picnic. Not busy at all only us when we were there.

Lookout is located in Ararat not far from its township. From here you get the first glimpse of the Grampians mountain ranges from a distance with a wide westernly view of the farmlands. Quiet spot best for watching the sun setting behind to the Grampians range.

One Tree Hill Lookout is absolutely worth the trip. The drive up and down is great fun and gives you a real sense of how the landscape opens out around Ararat. Once you reach the top, the views across to the Grampians are outstanding, especially on a clear day when the whole range seems to stretch forever. It’s a peaceful spot to take a break, enjoy the fresh air, and appreciate just how beautiful this part of Victoria really is. A simple lookout, but one that delivers far more than you expect.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Despite the name, One Tree Hill actually has plenty of trees! 🌳 The lookout gives you amazing sweeping views over the Ararat countryside — perfect for a quick stop to stretch your legs or snap a photo. Easy to get to, not time-consuming, and well worth pulling over for if you’re passing through town. A simple little gem with views that surprise you. 🌄
