We stayed for a weekend with our 3 year old and 3 month old. We had a great time. The big4 is located about 10 minutes out of town, on ocean beach. We stayed in a superior spa chalet. The chalet had everything you need and we were also offered a high chair and a cot to use. The rooms are huge and we fit a portable bassinet in the main bedroom easily. Our chalet faced a beautiful green lawn with a stunning view and was right near the huge playground (this has a big playground, flying fox, a pirate ship, a toddler playground, 2 bouncy pillows and mini golf). Kangaroos bouncing by and kookaburras singing in the trees! Staff were lovely and welcoming. We look forward to returning for another stay! Only thing to note- there isn’t an oven in the rooms. However there is a stove, benchtop frying pan and microwave. Also the fireplace was out of order but that didn’t bother us as we have young children and the aircon was great at heating the chalet.

Overall the park is good and had everything that’s needed. But it is a very large park and could do with some attention in certain areas. The concrete slab pitch we were assigned was in a terrible state, the grass was completely gone and it was so so muddy. We drove our van into the space designed to sleep in and it was so wonky!! Luckily we were the end pitch and we had a small ish van so we were able to squeeze onto the other side of the slab which was flatter. The ground could really do with some attention. The toilets and showers were clean enough, not ideal that the doors are left open constantly. The coffee stand in the morning was absolutely fab, late arrival process was very seamless. We also were able to see the Milky Way in the evening which was a real highlight for us!

We just had an incredible week at BIG4 Denmark Ocean Beach and it has officially become our annual holiday tradition. Honestly, it might be the best BIG4 we have ever stayed at. The location is perfect because you are right by the inlet and only a quick drive into town. The staff really goes above and beyond to keep things running smoothly, which creates such a relaxed atmosphere. It is one of those rare places where you can actually unwind while the kids have a blast on the playground. Everything was spotless, including the camp kitchens and the bathrooms. Even during the busy peak season, you can see the team putting in a massive effort to keep the facilities in top shape. It has that classic camping feel but with all the comforts that make it a real vacation. If you are heading to Denmark, you should definitely stay here. We are already counting down the days until we are back!

Very happy with our 4 night stay. Great 2 bedroom Superior Chalet. Beautiful location and all park amenities that we visited seemed clean and tidy. Friendly and helpful staff. Loved the evening visits by the kangaroos! Only issue we had was the data breech but we realise that was out of your control, just a shame it to so long to get communications from you regarding it. Definitely did not sour our trip though, and had an amazing time! Thanks for the great hospitality!

We’re tourists from Singapore and really enjoyed our stay at BIG4 Denmark Ocean Beach. The showers and toilets were clean, and the kids’ play area is huge. The Kitchen is marvelous . Very neat location. Highlight was the wildlife . we saw many wild kangaroos which made the experience unique. There’s a café at the main kitchen area , coffee is average but good enough. Overall, a great and relaxing base for exploring the surroundings.
