Visited the Mt Coot-tha Lookout Summit on a winter evening and it was absolutely beautiful. We arrived around 6:00pm and were treated to stunning views of Brisbane as the city lights came on. The lookout offers panoramic views across the whole city and it was a great experience for both adults and kids. There was plenty of parking available when we arrived, and the area felt safe and family-friendly. We stayed until around 6:45–7:00pm on a Friday, and by then it was starting to get noticeably busier. If you're visiting in winter, definitely bring a warm jacket or jumper as it gets quite chilly once the sun goes down. The nighttime views are well worth it and make for some fantastic photos. A wonderful spot to take visitors, enjoy a family outing, or simply appreciate the beauty of Brisbane at night. Highly recommended! 🌃✨

Mt. Coot-tha is an absolute must-visit! It offers the most stunning panoramic view of Brisbane City. I took the #471 bus here, and it was very convenient. The view is breathtaking at any time—day or night. I highly recommend visiting during sunset to catch those golden hues with a friend. It's also a perfect spot for a picnic; the combination of fresh air and good food is just heavenly. Being able to see the entire skyline at a glance was a highlight of my trip. Don't miss out on this beautiful spot!
