Enjoyed our stay in the self-contained villa’s up the back of the park. The room was clean and tidy upon arrival. The top floor had good views from the balcony. Close to the beach. Would recommend.

We stayed in one of the apartments towards the back of the complex and had a fantastic stay. The apartment was immaculately clean, tidy, and well maintained, with a really comfortable bed and lovely hot showers after a day of exploring. The staff were all friendly and welcoming, and the whole site was well looked after. The cooking facilities in the apartment were great for self-catering, making it easy to prepare our own meals when we wanted to. We also enjoyed visiting the Reef Café on site, which served great food and drinks in a lovely atmosphere. We honestly couldn’t fault our stay. It was excellent value for money, and we’d happily stay here again when visiting Coral Bay. Highly recommend!

Loved it! Family friendly, clean and tidy facilities, right across from the beach, Bill's Bar and bakery etc. Big caravan spots, but no fresh water for caravan hook up. Surprised at mobile reception for Vodafone. Will definitely be back again.

I appreciated the staff fitting us in at very short notice, especially during a busy period, and the location is certainly convenient for exploring Coral Bay. Unfortunately, the site allocated to us simply wasn’t suitable for a large caravan. We have a 23-foot caravan (around 29 feet including the drawbar), yet we were placed amongst the rooftop tent camping sites. For the first time in many years of travelling with caravans and motorhomes, I actually had to park diagonally just to fit onto the site. Even then, the rear of our van and one side extended into neighbouring sites, and we were only able to make it work because we had very understanding neighbours. The internal roads are quite narrow, and negotiating some of the corners can be surprisingly difficult. This isn’t just an issue for large rigs like ours—even a medium-sized caravan could struggle on some of the tighter turns because of the trees and the close proximity of some of the corner campsites to the roadway. Larger vans simply have even less margin for error. By our second night the park was completely full, and it really highlighted just how densely packed the sites are. It genuinely felt like sardines in a tin, with many vehicles projecting into the roadways simply because there simply isn’t enough room. At around $67 per night for an unpowered site, I was also surprised that there are no direct freshwater connections to the campsites. To be fair, there are three or four locations around the park where you can fill a 10 or 20-litre drinking water container free of charge. However, if you’re arriving with empty freshwater tanks, I’d strongly recommend using the paid bulk water fill point located on the right-hand side of the reception area before heading to your site. It will make life much easier than trying to cart water around afterwards. For camper trailers, rooftop tents and smaller caravans, this park may suit perfectly well. However, if you’re travelling with a larger van or motorhome, I’d strongly recommend confirming the dimensions of the site you’ll be allocated before booking. It could save a lot of unnecessary stress on arrival.

This is our first day here, so hopefully there’s nothing else that changes our opinion, but unfortunately the shower blocks need serious attention. The men’s and women’s setup itself is fine, but the cleanliness was honestly some of the worst we’ve seen. One shower was occupied, the next was covered in sand and hair, and by the time I walked further down the block, the main drain at the end appeared almost completely blocked. The last few showers basically couldn’t even be used unless you wanted to stand in dirty old water. The shower I ended up using still had hair on the walls, water and grime all over the bench where you’re supposed to put your clean clothes, sand everywhere and very poor drainage. If someone in a higher shower is washing off, their dirty water literally runs down onto your feet while you’re trying to shower. You would honestly be crazy not to wear thongs in there. The shower heads themselves also need maintenance, and overall it just feels like the amenities aren’t being properly looked after anymore. We’ve heard this used to be a really good caravan park, which makes it even more disappointing. This honestly feels like something that could be massively improved with regular maintenance and a proper pressure clean of the shower blocks. At the moment, the cleanliness of the amenities is nowhere near the standard you’d expect. Hoping the rest of our stay is better.
