Boambee Headland Lookout is located where Boambee Creek meets the Tasman Sea near Sawtell, just south of Coffs Harbour on the NSW north coast, offering 360-degree views of ocean, beaches and distant mountains. The 1.8-mile out-and-back trail takes approximately 43 minutes and features crashing waves below and frequent sightings of whales and dolphins from the rocky headland. Nearby Boambee Creek Reserve offers shallow waters, a children's playground and a cafΓ©, while a short trail leads to a heritage railway bridge.

Nigretta Falls are worth a visit if you're in the area. Access is really easy for all ages & all mobility levels. The carpark is just a couple of metres from the viewing platform which is on the same level as the carpark. No ramps or stairs to impede movement. Viewing waterfalls can be a challenge in terms of access at times. No obstacles here. You can still experience the bush in relative comfort, & it's free.

Beautiful place to explore with the children. Not a lot of water flowing but still very pretty.

Nice waterfall and pool easily accessed via stairs, paved road to location with bbq area and some wallabies chewing the grass.

Even though there was little water it was worth stopping for and walking down to the base of the Falls. Would be even better in the afternoon sun.

Lovely spot for a break. A little off the hwy but plenty of space for stretching legs. There are stairs to the bottom and you can explore further from there.
