Easy to find, accessible from both sides with legal, easy U turns. Plenty of space, very quiet, has some lights for safety but not too bright for sleeping. $15 donation box.

We recently stopped at New Italy while charging our Tesla nearby, and what a pleasant surprise it turned out to be! The charging station was very convenient, making it easy for us to relax while our car powered up. As we explored the area, we discovered a charming café, clean toilets, and a small museum, which immediately caught our attention. Inside the museum, we were amazed to see replicas of famous sculptures like David and Venus—it really felt like stepping into a little slice of Italy! The attention to detail in the artwork and the exhibits made the place so unique and enjoyable. The café was lovely, with a relaxed atmosphere and good food, making it a perfect spot to take a break. The whole area has a very quaint, Italian-inspired vibe, from the architecture to the statues, and it was fun to walk around and soak in the atmosphere. Even if you don’t have a Tesla or aren’t stopping for charging, New Italy is definitely worth a visit. It’s a small hidden gem with art, culture, and a nice place to relax. We had a wonderful time and would happily go back! 🇮🇹☕🖼️

Large carpark, has EV chargers. Large grassed area for children and dogs to run around in. Food and coffees available. Reasonable bathrooms. Allowed to stay overnight with a $15 donation.
