The lookout itself is nice. But getting there is a good example of using resources to make something worse. Most of the walk is concrete path, stairs and steel railing, when it could have been a beautiful, easy natural trail. A shame they paved over the very thing you come for.

Great lookout, 3km bitumen road in from the main road to the carpark, then an easy (if reasonable fit) 400m walk on a well-defined track to the lookout. Near the top there are abseilers doing their thing on the weekends. From the lookout you have an expansive view of Noosa and surrounds, even on a cloudy day. Sadly, we had to shorten our time there after being attacked by march flies. This lookout would be best experienced near sunrise or sunset. There are toilet facilities near the carpark. I recommend you come and check it out for yourself!

Easy 10-15 walk up from the parking lot. Even on a rainy windy day the views don’t disappoint. A sunny sunset up here would be lovely!

A good walk up the hill to the look out - about 10-15 min. Partly rock face and steps along a lovely stone paved path, so it is a comfortable, safe climb. If you have children you would need to watch them as they could wonder off the path to the edges. Beautiful and interesting plants, flowers and views to see on the way up. We noticed the sweet, honey smell of the flowered bushes as we climbed. The views were worth the climb. Quiet spectacular even on a cloudy, hazy day. It would be great if they had an information sign about the hills and places you were viewing. This would have added to the experience. The information board they had at the bottom was great to identify the flowers and such. We didn't see any of the fauna though. I would definitely come back again.

Mount Tinbeerwah Lookout is a must-visit for big Sunshine Coast views without a long hike. It is wheelchair access for the first 260 metres, then gets a bit steeper for the remaining 740 metres. The short, easy track is mostly paved but also takes you across large, flattish boulders that give it a natural, adventurous feel while still being manageable for most ages. There is a small bench seat at about the 600 metre mark, so that you can rest before making the slightly easier track to the Lookout platform. From the lookout platform, you’ll get a stunning 360° panorama – lush hinterland rolling out to the Glass House Mountains in one direction and sparkling coastline in the other. It’s especially magical at sunrise or sunset when the colours light up the whole landscape. Parking is limited and there’s little shade, so bring water and a hat, but for such a small effort, the payoff is huge. There are also anchor points for those that wish to repel over the cliff edges. As always, if you take children, make sure you keep an eye on them at all times. A lot of the cliff edges are un-fenced.
