Great view if you climb up the steep hike. It’s a level 4 hiking track, so expect a steep climb, allow 2 hrs for up and down.

I love climbing Mt Coolum in the Autumn Winter seasons when it's not too hot, try to visit before 10am as it gets quite busy, some doing runs up an down the steps and pathways. The view is amazing and you can see right across Palmer's mostly empty golf course 😕

Very popular with locals and visitors alike. Early morning and afternoons seem to be peak times . It can be very busy on the weekends and hard to find a park.

Climbed Mt Coolum and it was spectacular. Definitely need comfortable shoes and Definitely take water. Is very rocky and steep in places. Tested my unfitness but take your ti.e and rest to catch your breathe. Take a camera or phone for photos. Look out for wildlife along the way. Birds, butterflies, goannas. Well worth the hike!

We absolutely loved our hike up Mt Coolum. It was a good step up for my 5 and 8 year old daughters after doing Mt Ngungun. The path winding up the hill is an exceptionally well built path, and had me frothing all the way up. I can't recommend this walk enough.
