Magnificent cool water gorge amongst Rainforest well managed and maintained by the local indigenous community. Beautiful. Swimming is discouraged since an unfortunate incident years ago and an investigation that decided they would always recommend not to swim, but it is very safe for swimming most of the time with gentle pools amongst the cascades and rapids and has amazing views and accessible pathways and raised walkways and swing bridges.

Great place, so much to see and well developed for people of all age and level of fitness. The circuit is well worth the walk. The attention of nature is in its detail so take your time to explore and look everywhere. It is amazing. Have a jump in the gorge if safe to do so, it is so refreshing and gets you in tune with this wonderful place.

They day do not walk because you go through an Aboriginal village. We checked maps and found that walking does not go through the village so we walked. It was a great walk to and from the park and a great hike in it! Great place for a swim in the river and lots of wildlife. Lizards, hogs, birds, etc.
