Mordialloc is a beautiful beach, clean, relaxed, and full of character. It’s especially loved for being dog-friendly, with designated off-leash areas where pups can run, swim, and socialize freely. The long stretch of sand makes it perfect for morning walks or sunset strolls, and the calm waters are great for both people and dogs who enjoy a gentle swim. Beyond the beach, the nearby creek, parklands, and coastal walking trails add to its charm, while the village atmosphere. Cafés, fish and chip shops, and local boutiques, makes it easy to spend a whole day there. It’s a welcoming spot where families, dog owners, and beach lovers all feel at home.

We went on a cloudy October afternoon and absolutely loved it. The beach is long and sandy, and the walk to the pier (about 800m) was lovely. Near the pier was busy with people enjoying picnics - there are lots of tables along the way with great beach views. Nice place for a walk or jog, with a café on the beach, a kids’ playground, and plenty of parking.
