Rented a cheap room that resembled a refrigerator...and was equally as cold. The built in heater was useless and sounded like a train. Found a portable heater in the cupboard that was just as loud. Decisions, decisions, get little sleep due to a freezing cold rooms or a noisy heater...lucky for me, I BYO earbuds. The window sill near the bed was very dusty and covered with insects, and the window lock was broken (so I fixed the lock and cleaned the window sill). The park is close to the pub, general store and tackle shop (which is also a great cafe) but so are the other caravan parks. The amenities are a little tired also. Broken showers, unpainted walls, etc... Aprope, check in was quick and friendly. The room TV was small and nasty, I had to balance it on the broken remote just to see the screen, the setting of which I couldnt adjust due to the broken remote. (The next day I booked a cheaper, cosy and warm and much bigger room at a pub, that came with 2 X free drinks.) The pub, general store/cafe, tackle-shop/cafe, fantastic beaches...and the Sailors Grave brewery made the visit to Marlo worth the small discomfort. (I've added photos of Marlo...not the accomodation)

Absolutely outstanding experience at Marlo Caravan Park. Over the ANZAC Day period, we needed a place to park our boat so we could carry out repairs on the trailer, and the team here went above and beyond to help us out. Not only did they accommodate us for the entire week, but the owner genuinely went out of his way to make things easy. He even offered access to his shed, tools, lighting, and power so we could get the job done properly. That level of support is rare. It’s the kind of old-school, down-to-earth hospitality that you just don’t see much anymore. Massive thanks to the staff and owner for being so accommodating and easy to deal with. Proper local business run by good people. Highly recommend staying here—legends!

Wonderful stay on well placed caravan powered site. Managers always courteous and helpful. Amenities are extremely well looked after. An added bonus is it’s a two minute walk to the pub that has on several occasions served high quality meals with a view over the legendary Snowy River. Love this place.

I stayed in a very clean functional cabin for 4 nights. The location is central, easy to walk to the river, pub and shop. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's okay to have your dog as long as it's on a lead. One evening there was a person in the caravan park playing loud music, but apart from that it was perfect.

Hard to review, nice welcome and got a drive through site for no extra. Mind you the single sites are really short and narrow. The showers are very good in that there is separate wet and dry areas. The cabin nearby has horrendously loud in-wall air-conditioning. Location is great, close to pub, shop, jetty. Camp kitchen is just 2 bbq. Really needs an update though.
