Took about an hour from Dove Lake car park to reach top. Nothing too hard with average fitness(ensure you are prepared for bad weather though- a person died there in Sept 2025 when the weather turned and they got lost - they only had tshirt/shorts). Lots of formed steps and a bit of climbing up rocks near the end. Was fun with spectacular views, I didnβt want to leave. On way back followed the sign to take the Ronny Creek path to see different scenery, including a waterfall, another boat shed and lots of wombats (was late in the day).

The hike is little hard for casual travelers. But view completely worth it. Lucky to have amazing weather.

Spectacular hike. Started at Dove Lake made it to the peak in an hour and 25 and it was well worth it. A moderate hike, but the payoff is amazing.

Pretty neat walk coming from the 4th bus station you get to see wombats and echidnas waddling near the platforms. The accent up was most certainly very steep needing chains to pull yourself up at the end, but it's so worth it for the Views! Very good for a 3 hour walk

We started our Credle mountain summit hike through Marions lookout. It is uphill, but good maintained steps. We ended our loop taking the Face Track round to Dove lake again. From Dove lake we took the Lake Lilla Track to Ronny Creek. In total around 16km.6-7 hours in total with wild spotting etc.
