Peaceful, relaxing waterfront stay. Bring some food, wine and good coffee and settle in for a few days of peace and quiet. The perfect base for hiking Innes National Park. WiFi and streaming services are excellent. The cabin kitchen is well appointed, beds are comfy, but the bathroom could use a refresh. It's worth paying a little extra for a cabin with a sea view deck. Management is very conscientious and responsive.

What a lovely caravan park perfectly situated on the beach. Our site was perhaps 10 steps to the sand and during our stay over the long weekend in 40 degrees was great for a quick dip to cool off. Amenities were clean and tidy as was the park itself. Bonus Saturday sourdough bread delivery at reception, kindly notified via a text. Dealing over the phone to make our booking was made with Don who went above and beyond to accommodate us. He was informed and patient and friendly. We definitely will return and didnβt want to leave.

TL;DR - The owner was immediately aggressive and rude before we were even able to have a conversation. - We were told twice over the phone that a second car was allowed if we paid extra (which we did) then told the opposite on arrival. - No solutions or reasonable discussion were offered; only hostility. - Other guests were allowed two cars on nearby sites, while we were denied the same. Full version We were happy with our stay at Marion Bay Caravan Park for the first two nights β staff were friendly and facilities were good. Unfortunately, that changed completely due to the ownersβ behaviour. Before our visit, both my friend and I called twice to confirm rules. We were told the $50/night powered site covered up to six people, one car and one caravan. We then called again prior to arrival as we wanted to bring a second car, we were told we could do so by paying an extra $20 per person per night, which we agreed to and organised in advance. On arrival, our friends attempted to enter with their car and the owner immediately became aggressive, yelling that a second car was not allowed. There was no calm or respectful conversation, just hostility from the start. When we explained we had been told otherwise over the phone, her husband responded with βthat attitude will get you nowhere,β and they were both incredibly aggressive. We wanted to at least find a solution as we were frustrated that we had pre-organised this. We asked to briefly drive in to unload and then take the car back out 20mins max, this was refused. They then told us βunder no circumstances was there to be two cars in at onceβ. We would need to pack up our awning etc, drive one car out and swap them. Several hours later we saw other campers nearby with two cars allowed on one site. We then asked to pay for an additional site, the female owner aggressively refused without checking, despite multiple empty sites being visible later on. The inconsistency, lack of communication, and outright rudeness made the rest of our stay uncomfortable. For the price we paid for a single powered site, we may as well have booked a cabin. We wonβt be returning after being treated so poorly. Honestly the car thing wouldnβt have been an issue if the owner actually talked to us like human beings, and also hadnβt told us something totally different on the phone. *photo attached of two cars on the same site*

Friendly service, clean and modern facilities and full reception on everything. There is beach access from the park but it's quite a drop off due to the recent storm erosion.
