Manning Gorge is one of the Kimberley's most celebrated swimming and walking destinations, located along the iconic Gibb River Road in Mount Barnett Station. A rewarding three-kilometre walk from the campground—beginning with a creek crossing and marked by rock cairns—leads to rugged rock walls and seasonal waterfalls. Deep pools remain year-round for swimming, with waterfalls flowing powerfully between May and October. The site is 4WD access only and visitors may encounter ancient Bradshaw and Wandjina rock art along the route.
