About Manning Gorge Campground

Manning Gorge sits along the famous Gibb River Road in the Kimberley region of Western Australia and is renowned for swimming and walking. The campground is located on Mount Barnett Station near the trailhead; a 3-kilometre walk (with creek crossing) leads to the gorge where deep pools of water persist year-round beneath towering rock walls. Toilets and showers are available at the camp, campfires are permitted, and entry fees are paid at the nearby Mount Barnett Roadhouse. Access is by four-wheel drive only, and the best time to visit is during the dry season from May to October.
