Between South Maroubra and Malabar lies a small yet important coastline national park which contains original intact bush. The headland itself offers breathtaking views, fuana and whale watching advantage points. Overall, it's a really simple stroll with few bumps, but the new boardwalk installation nearby will make your life easier.

I walk my dogs here most weekdays- itโ€™s a nice space for the dogs to have a run. Be aware that there are snakes in summer so keep your dogs out of the long grass and bush, but a lovely spot for a morning stroll. Great views to Malabar and Maroubra.

Great to see nature preserved in such an urban area. The coastal walk was beautiful however a little crowded over the weekend. Some cliffs are not fenced so be careful is you have kids around, and keep in mind that the wind is was quite strong too.

Malabar Headland National Park contains a really wonderful coastal walk with spectacular views. Some parts of the walk are on an elevated footpath. This helps the area to be accessible and suitable to a wide range of users. It is a popular spot for runners/ joggers as well as families with young children. I found the vegetation and rock formations along the walk really interesting. The park was peaceful and calming. I would recommend visiting here!

My dad and I really enjoyed this easy hike a while ago. You can see the beautiful scenery without much effort here. It only takes about 2 hours to walk the whole park, and most of the roads are flat, which is very suitable for novice hikers. If you are lucky enough to come here in June-July, you can even see whales migrating. It is also a good place to watch the sunrise and sunset. Oh, one more thing, there is a shooting range in the park. Make sure to check the official website before you come to see if the shooting range is open. If the shooting range is open, the most beautiful route by the sea will be closed.๐Ÿ˜ฎโ€๐Ÿ’จ
