Lyrebird Falls is a scenic 2km Grade 4 walking track located in Gibraltar Range National Park in NSW's New England region, featuring a hike of approximately 1.25 hours to reach the scenic lookout at the end. The track passes through open forest along the steep-sided valley of Boundary Creek, bordered by tall eucalypts, grass trees, tree ferns, and wattles, offering views of gorgeous little waterfalls and over Boundary Creek. Lyrebirds inhabit the forest areas along this track, and wedge-tailed eagles are often spotted soaring above on thermals. Access is from the Boundary Falls picnic area just off the highway, located 63km east of Glen Innes or 97km west of Grafton.
